Steven Van Arsdale: Council of Outstanding Early Career Engineers - 2000

Steve Van Arsdale is the Director of Manufacturing at United Parcel Service (UPS) Aviation Technology (formerly II Morrow, Inc.). He manages the manufacturing, support engineering, test, and service functions of this leading avionics company. After beginning his career with II Morrow, Steve transferred to the UPS Oregon District Industrial Engineering Department in 1995 as an IE Section Manager where he coordinated project management efforts and led the introduction of Early AM service to the Oregon district. Steve introduced UPS to the MECOP program and increased his support of the program when he was appointed to the MECOP Executive Board in 1997. Mr. Van Arsdale is the current chair of the MECOP Executive Board.
